Singularity of design. One-handed functionality.
The LGNDR tabletop tape dispenser is a design object that is both beautiful and functional. We start with a single piece of die-cast solid brass, which is then deburred and polished. The finished dispenser is a weighty centrepiece that stands handsomely on your desk or table. Steadfast and yet elegant.
Our intention was to create a flowing, organic design that harmonises with its surroundings rather than being dominant. The successful result is the upper curve of an ellipsoid. Weighing in at 2 kilograms. The hexagonally shaped roller core is made of solid brass and echoes the iconic shape found in Legendär writing instruments. The cutting blade is replaceable and fixed with a brass screw. The underside of the dispenser is covered with a piece of suede to protect delicate surfaces.
